Steadman Design was founded in 1990 by designer Barry Steadman in Knoxville, Tennessee. The graphic design firm relocated to Kingsport, Tennessee in 1992 where it continues to develop unique designs and creative strategies for companies throughout the United States.
Barry Steadman received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design from the University of Tennessee in 1988. He began his career working for Carter’s Art Shop as a sign painter during the summer while attending college. Upon graduation, he began working with Philips Consumer Electronics Company in the Corporate Art Department. After his time with Philips, he directed the start up and growth of Steadman Design. Barry’s design, advertising, and communications have garnered numerous awards. Mr. Steadman has been involved in the community as a volunteer, committee member, and board of director with civic groups, non-profits, athletic teams, and faith organizations. Barry and his wife Kristi have two children, Audra and Luke.
